Map Lead Comments to HubSpot

Learn how to enable comment and activity tracking so that lead comments from PartnerPortal.io appear on your HubSpot deals.

When comment tracking is enabled, any comment added to a lead in PartnerPortal.io is logged as activity on the corresponding HubSpot deal.

Who can do this: Admins (to enable the feature); all HubSpot users (to activate the filter on their own account)


Important: PartnerPortal.io only maps comments added after a lead has been mapped to HubSpot. Comments placed on the lead record before the deal was created in HubSpot will not be synced and will not appear in HubSpot activity.


Before You Start

  • Admin access to PartnerPortal.io (required to enable the feature in Step 1)

  • A HubSpot integration already connected and configured


Step 1: Enable Comment Tracking in PartnerPortal.io

  1. Go to the Integrations tab and select your HubSpot settings.

  2. Click Configure.

  3. Scroll to the Other Settings section at the bottom.

  4. Find the Comment/Activity Tracking field and toggle it on.

Step 2: Activate the PartnerPortal.io Filter in HubSpot

Each HubSpot user must complete this step individually to see PartnerPortal.io activity on their deals.

  1. Open any HubSpot deal that was mapped from PartnerPortal.io.

  2. In the activity feed, click Filter Activity.

  3. Under Integrations, select the PartnerPortal.io filter.

Once the filter is active, PartnerPortal.io comments will appear as activity entries on the deal.
