How To Reauthorize HubSpot

This article will walk you through the steps to reauthorize your HubSpot connection in your portal.

Updated over a week ago

API changes and updates from time to time may require you to reauthorize your HubSpot connection to PartnerPortal.io. This quick tutorial will ensure that you're adhering to best practices when this action is needed.

First things first - DO NOT DISCONNECT - Disconnecting the app will cause you to lose out on the historical data associated with your portal. When HubSpot is disconnected, all previously connected leads will no longer be synced to HubSpot and would require re-connecting each lead individually.

If you've received an error or request to reauthorize, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your partner portal.

2. Head to your Integration tab which can be found on the left-hand sidebar. Within the HubSpot window, you can select "Settings."

3.) From the Settings view in HubSpot, select "Reauthorize." Once again, do not disconnect!

4.) Double-check that you're reauthorizing into the correct HubSpot instance. (If you only have access to one HubSpot account, you may not see this screen.)

5.) Connect the App. If you aren't a robot, select the box! (if you are a robot, we'd like to meet you)

6.) You're all set. A "success" notification should populate for you as seen below.
