How to edit Billing and Company Info

This article will walk you through the steps on how to add or edit any Billing and Company Information.

Updated over a week ago

When creating your portal, you'll want to ensure all the company information is correct and if on a paid plan, we want to avoid any disruption of service.

Billing Info

Head to your Accounts & Settings tab in your sidebar and select the Billing subtab.

You'll see your current plan details such as the next billing cycle and how many active accounts are allowed on your portal.

Next to your subscription information, you'll see the credit card information section where your preferred method can be added or edited. Please note, that you can request auto-payment for your billing after entering your CC info.

Company Info

Select a Subdomain:

The portal subdomain is how partners will be able to recognize your portal.

If your company name is Hello, and this is what is entered into the subdomain section, then to access your partner portal your partners would go to hello.partnerportal.com. (NOTE: partners is not a subdomain option)

A subdomain is not a full portal domain. All portals will have partnerportal.io in the subdomain unless you've created a custom domain.

example: companyname.partnerportal.io

Custom Domains:

PartnerPortal.io also allows you to create custom domain names for your portal to ensure that no one ever confuses your portal with someone else’s.

Selecting a Custom Domain:

Should a fully branded domain name be preferred, you can do so in the Custom Domain field. An example of a Custom Domain would be partner.hello.com. This allows you to have more control over the partner program and have a fully branded and custom domain.

(please note, the custom domain can only be changed on a paid subscription plan)

When opting in to use a custom domain, be sure to enter the fully qualified URL that you intend to use in the field (e.g. partners.company-name.com). Then you'll be provided with instructions on how to make your new custom domain live!

Support Email:

In the support email section of the company info, you can enter an email that partners can reach out to if they have any questions. This email will appear for your partners in the bottom of all portal notification emails and will be notified of any contact forms completed. The contact form can be found on the sign-in page of your portal and partners can reach out to you and your team there.

For more information, please feel free to reach out to our team at [email protected] or [email protected]
