Using Opportunities

This article will walk you through the steps to use and manage Opportunities

Please ensure that Opportunities is fully set up. To learn more, check out this article.

Once you've set up Opportunities, here's how to effectively use them within PartnerPortal.io:

Creating a New Opportunity:

  • Go to the Opportunities tab in the sidebar menu.

  • Click on the Add New button.

  • Fill in all necessary information for the opportunity, including contact information, budget, service type, and any additional details.

  • Click Save to create the opportunity.

  • On the Partners section, click Manage to open the partner selection window. Select the partner(s) you want to send the opportunity to from the available partner list.

  • Click Save to send the opportunity to the selected partners.

Managing Opportunities:

  • Monitor the status of sent opportunities in the "Opportunities" tab (updated by partners).

  • Use the comment section to communicate with partners regarding specific opportunities.

  • Partners will receive notifications and can log in to the portal to review and respond to opportunities.

Removing Opportunities:

Archiving: If you are no longer working on an opportunity with a partner, you can archive it. This will make the opportunity inactive and stop all communications, but the historical data will still be available to you.

  • Click on the respective opportunity.

  • Click the Archive button and confirm the action in the pop-up.


​Deleting: If you want to completely delete an opportunity, it must first be archived.

  • Open the archived opportunity.

  • Click the Delete Opportunity button.

  • Confirm the action in the pop-up.
