Connect and Configure the Pipedrive Integration

Learn how to connect your Pipedrive CRM to PartnerPortal.io and map your pipeline stages and portal phases.

Connecting Pipedrive to PartnerPortal.io lets you sync deals, track pipeline updates, and give partners visibility into the sales cycle.

Who can do this: Admins only.

Important: The Won and Lost stages must be mapped for the integration to function correctly.


Before You Start

  • Admin access to PartnerPortal.io

  • Access to the Pipedrive account you want to connect


Step 1: Connect Your Pipedrive Account

  1. Go to the Integrations tab in the sidebar.

  2. Click Enable Pipedrive.

  3. You will be redirected to Pipedrive. Log in if prompted, or confirm the connection if you're already logged in.

  4. Once connected, click Settings for the Pipedrive integration.

  5. Click Configure to begin mapping your data.


Step 2: Select a Pipeline

  1. In the configuration screen, locate the Pipeline card under the Deal object.

  2. Click the card to open it.

  3. Click the Value dropdown and select the Pipedrive pipeline you want to sync with your portal.

Step 3: Map Deal Stages

  1. Click the Stage card.

  2. Click Map Values.

  3. Map your portal phases to the corresponding Pipedrive stages.

  4. In the On Create, set Pipedrive CRM Stage to field, choose how new deals from the portal enter your Pipedrive pipeline:

    1. Static stage: All new deals start in the same Pipedrive stage, regardless of the portal phase.

    2. Infer from mappings:The portal determines the starting stage based on your existing phase mappings.

      Important: Avoid mapping multiple portal phases to the same Pipedrive stage, this can make the starting stage inconsistent.

    3. Map manually: You define exactly which Pipedrive stage maps to each portal phase.

    Note: You do not need to map every stage. Map the key stages you want partners to be able to follow as a deal progresses through the sales cycle.

  5. Click Save on the Stage card.


Step 4: Map Additional Pipelines (Optional)

If you want to sync more than one pipeline, map the stages for each additional pipeline separately.

  1. In the Stage mapping window, use the pipeline selector on the left to choose the next pipeline.

  2. Map the Pipedrive stages to the corresponding portal phases for that pipeline.

  3. Repeat for each additional pipeline.


Step 5: Save Your Configuration

Click Save mappings at the bottom of the main configuration page. Your Pipedrive integration is now active and deals will begin syncing according to the rules you have set.
