How to Customize Lead Phases and Deal Stages

This article will walk you through the steps on how to customize your lead (deal) phases.

To customize the partner-facing lead phases in your portal, you'll need to access the Leads sub-tab under your Accounts & Settings in your CRM.

From there, you can customize your lead registration form by scrolling to the bottom of the Lead Phases section and selecting the pencil icon to edit.

Keep in mind that once a lead phase is added and saved, it cannot be removed due to possible connections with existing leads. However, if needed, you can always revert to the original phases (Processing, Prospecting, Consulting, Proposed).

Please note: All leads start in the original Processing phase when Pending. Any phase customization for your CRM will only update once a lead has been mapped. If your leads remain in Pending for an extended period, please ensure that you edit the Processing phase accordingly.

A Closed Lost phase can trigger your PartnerPortal.io leads to expire automatically. If you'd like to expire leads manually, please ensure your toggle off the option "Trigger Leads to expire".

Closed Lost, Closed Won and n/a fields cannot be edited.
