Reauthorize Your HubSpot Connection

Follow these steps to reauthorize your HubSpot connection in PartnerPortal.io without losing your historical data.

Occasional API updates from HubSpot may require you to reauthorize your connection to PartnerPortal.io.

Who can do this: Admins only

When do you need this?

You will need this guide if you have received an error or a request to reauthorize your HubSpot connection.

Why this happens

HubSpot API changes and updates can invalidate your existing authorization, requiring you to reconnect the app.

Warning: Do not disconnect the HubSpot app. If you disconnect, all previously connected leads will no longer sync to HubSpot, and you would need to reconnect each lead individually to restore the historical data.

Steps

  1. Log in to your partner portal.

  2. In the left-hand sidebar, go to the Integrations tab. Inside the HubSpot window, select Settings.

  3. From the Settings view, click Reauthorize. Do not click Disconnect.

  4. Confirm you are reauthorizing into the correct HubSpot account.

(Note: If you only have access to one HubSpot account, you may not see this screen.)

  5. Click Connect App.
