Bring your partners into the portal so they can register deals and access your program resources. There are two ways to do this — choose the one that fits your workflow.
⏱️ Estimated time: 2–5 minutes | Who can do this: Admin only
Choose Your Approach
| Let partners register themselves | Invite partners directly |
Best for | Large programs with many partners | Controlled onboarding, VIP partners |
Who starts the process | The partner | You (Admin) |
Requires manual approval | Yes | No — access is granted on invite |
Supports bulk onboarding | No | Yes, via CSV upload |
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following ready:
Admin access to the portal — only Admins can approve registrations and send invites.
One contact per company — only send the registration link or invite to a single person per partner company. Once they're in, they can invite the rest of their team.
Phone number with country code — required if sending invites (e.g., 14075557899 for a US number).
ℹ️ Note: PartnerPortal does not support automatic partner approval. All registrations require manual Admin approval before a partner can access the portal.
Option A — Let Partners Register Themselves
Use this option when you want partners to initiate the process on their own.
Step 1 — Share the Registration Link
Send your partner the registration link so they can sign up directly. Your registration page follows this format:
yourcompanyname.partnerportal.io/register
You can include this link in a welcome email or onboarding communication explaining how they can join the program.
⚠️ Warning: Do not send this link to multiple people at the same company. Only one user per partner company should complete the registration. Once they have access, they can invite the rest of their team from inside the portal.
Step 2 — Partner Completes the Registration Form
Once the partner opens the registration link, they will see a sign-up form. All fields are required — the partner must fill in the entire form before submitting.

Partners can also access this form from the sign-in page by clicking the button under the Sign in field.

Step 3 — Review and Approve the Request
After the partner submits the form:
The partner receives a confirmation email letting them know their request was submitted.
You (Admin) receive a notification about the pending request.
Review the request in the portal and approve or reject it.
Once approved, the partner gains access to the portal and can start registering deals.

ℹ️ Note: Partners will not have access to the portal until an Admin manually approves their request. There is no automatic approval.
Option B — Invite Partners Directly
Use this option when you want to onboard partners without requiring them to fill out a registration form. Access is granted as soon as they accept the invite.
Step 1 — Open the Invite Form
Go to Invite Partner under the Partners menu section.

Step 2 — Fill in the Partner Details
Complete all required fields in the invite form. Pay attention to the phone number format:
Enter the full number without spaces or dashes
Always include the country code
Example: 14075557899 (1 = US country code + 4075557899)
ℹ️ Note: All fields in the invite form are required. The invite cannot be sent if any field is left blank.
Step 3 — Send the Invite
Click Invite Partner to deliver the invite. The partner will receive an email with instructions to access the portal. No Admin approval is needed — they gain access as soon as they accept.
Invite Multiple Partners at Once
If you need to onboard several partners at the same time, use the bulk invite feature.
Download the CSV template from the bulk invite section.
Fill in your partner information following the template format.
Upload the completed file.

💡 Tip: Check the bulk invite screen for the maximum number of partners allowed per upload before preparing your CSV.
Troubleshooting
The partner did not receive the confirmation email. Ask them to check their spam or junk folder. If the email is not there, an Admin can resend the invite from the Partners tab.
The partner submitted the form but has no access yet. All registrations require manual Admin approval (Option A only). Check the pending requests in the Admin panel and approve the partner.
The CSV upload returned an error. Make sure the file follows the downloaded template exactly — do not add, remove, or rename columns. Also confirm that all phone numbers include the country code and have no spaces or dashes.
Two people from the same company registered separately. PartnerPortal does not automatically merge duplicate companies. Contact support to consolidate the accounts before approving both registrations.
